Food banks, their staff & volunteers are doing incredibly important work to support families who have fallen through the gaping holes of our inadequate social security safety net.

As @TorstenBell says, the main way people become wealthy in Britain today is to make sure that they have rich parents! You can 'be the best that you can be', be a 'striver not a shirker' etc. but in our Tory meritocracy being born privileged is what makes most of the difference. https://t.co/mE8xqu51ub
