Housing Debate

Feb 1, 2018

In January 2018, our Swansea branch held an event, chaired by Gideon Calder (Professor of Social Sciences & Social Policy, Swansea University. Co-editor, Ethics & Social Welfare) with very high profile persons of the area of housing, to debate:

“Is housing now the biggest challenge we face, as a society? Is it still possible to offer decent housing to all, regardless of age or background? How can we meet these challenges, in Wales and beyond?”.

Discussing this question were:

Lisa McKenzie (London School of Economics, Guardian columnist, author of Getting By).
John Puzey (Director of Shelter Cymru).
Tamsin Stirling (Housing researcher and policy adviser).
